Schedule: 2 day-long sessions
Class Time/Dates: Saturday, August 1, 10am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break
Sunday, August 2, 1:30pm-4:30pm (one hour break, 4:30-5:30pm), then show preparation and performance, 5:30-7pm
Performance: One performance on Sunday, August 2nd, 6-7pm
Class size: 12 students maximum
Class length: 11.5 hours total of instruction and performance

Here it is, gang! Your chance to build your scene skills AND learn a variety of solid improv games, THEN put it all together in one unforgettable performance.
In just two days we’ll cover an astounding variety of improv skills, starting with the fundamentals of scene work and focusing on what it takes to instantly create short, yet meaningful and imaginative stories out of thin air.
We will also cover imaginative and dramatic stage techniques designed to enhance and enrich scenes, such as split focus, flashbacks, montages, and more.
You’ll also be introduced to many of the best tried and true improv games and learn the tips and tricks to perform them successfully.
Finally, you’ll build essential stage skills, including creating a playful ensemble and lively interaction with the audience.
This is sure to be a full and fun experience for any improviser interested in performing, and especially for those of you who are just starting to get on stage!
