Improv Singing 101

Schedule: 6 sessions (once a week for 6 weeks)
Class dates: January 11, 18, 25, February 1, 8, 15
Class length: 3 hours (18 hours total instruction)
Class size: 16 students maximum

Prerequisite: Foundation 1

This 6-week workshop is designed to teach the essential principles of how to create improvised solos, duets, and choruses. We break down the challenge of singing a song into its basics – breathing, ear and voice training, rhyme and rhythm exercises. 

This is the perfect class for anyone interested in learning about the different elements of improvised songs. No previous singing training, performance, or experience is needed! All that’s required is a healthy sense of curiosity and the knowledge of your improv basics!
