BATS Scholarship
Program
The BATS Improv Scholarship Program is undergoing some changes. Please check back later for updates.
BATS Improv is committed to making the transformative experience of improvisation accessible to everyone.
To support this, we offer needs-based scholarships for students in our adult and youth programs. Scholarships are available for introductory and advanced classes, as well as youth camps and class series, but not for drop-in sessions like Jams.
Scholarship amounts vary based on financial need and the applicant pool. Please note a student is limited to receiving three scholarships in one calendar year.
Applicants must be 18 or older to apply for adult scholarships and demonstrate financial need. For youth improv classes, parents or guardians must complete the application on behalf of minors.
Current students and newcomers are welcome to apply. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Scholarships will be reviewed by the BATS School team and awarded based on:
• Expressed desire for your art education
• Financial need
• Availability of your preferred class
• Student eligibility and current enrollment demand
Applications are taken on a rolling basis. Please expect to receive a response regarding your application within two weeks of submission. Please note that you will need to apply for each course you wish to take.
Please fill out this application form with your information and the class you’d like to attend.
You can see all our class listings, in-person and online, here.
If you have any questions or need accommodations to complete your application, email bats@improv.org—we’re here to help!
