We’ll focus on what each individual needs to work on, along with finding the end to a scene.  We pay close attention to the start of a scene, but what about the end?  I call it “landing the plane” and it’s a skill that’s often overlooked.  When a scene ends at the right time, even if the scene was rough in the beginning and middle, it’s successful.  Let’s work that muscle!

In Studio Scene Work students hone their performance skills, such as being seen and heard, listening, character, and being fun to play with. The smaller class size gives students more opportunities to work and gives coaches more opportunities to provide detailed feedback. Studio Scene Work is a great tune-up for advanced students who have taken a break from studying. It can be taken multiple times. Students move out of Studio Scene Work when the coach and Dean determine the student is ready to advance to Performance Level classes.
