Guess what? Anyone can make up a song in the moment and we’re going to show you how! Co-taught by improviser Laura Wachtel and improv musician Win Meyerson, you will be guided through a series of confidence-building mini-steps and simple song structures — all designed to free you from the self-judging mind and spark your accidental ingenuity. No prior improv experience necessary for this no-pressure foray into spontaneous song creation. Not a natural rhymer? Can’t carry a tune? No problem. A desire to laugh and sing is all you need.

Laura was one half of the improv singing duo Lula and Juicy’s Farewell Tour and is the founder of ZipLine Improv. Win Meyerson has improvised music for TV shows including the British version of “Whose Line is it Anyway?” and “Random Acts of Comedy” (Fox). He played 10 years of song improv classes at The Groundlings in LA, and accompanies shows with local improv groups including BATS, “The Gentlemen Basterds” and “3 For All.”
