This advanced level six-week class will explore in-depth the devices, language, and characters of Shakespeare’s plays.  Culminating in two 90-minute long-form performances on the Bayfront stage, this workshop will allow you to play with a small ensemble of experienced people, familiarizing yourself with the nuances of the genre. We’ll go beyond the first layer of Shakespearean language to what lies within the stories and tone of Shakespeare’s plays to make them so timeless.

No previous Shakespeare experience is necessary, however this class is designed for students with significant improv and long-form experience.  Admission is based on coach and dean approval.
