It’s never too early to start improvising, and now you can start that journey here at BATS!

Youth Improv Level 1 is a fun and engaging introduction to improvisation. This class focuses on the foundations of improv like:

•listening

•collaboration

•teamwork

•imagination

…which all happen to be GREAT life skills, too!

Through games and exercises, students will practice individual skills, create stories, and learn to be part of an ensemble, all in a low-pressure environment with an emphasis on FUN!

The class will culminate in a showcase where we play with and for family and friends.

At the end of the 8 weeks, students may either continue in Youth Improv Level 1 or move on to Youth Improv Level 2. In both classes, your coaches will work with you to tailor instruction to your level.

• Inhabiting characters and using your body and voice to make them distinct and realistic

• Creating stories and developing scenes that center on characters’ relationships and objectives

• Playing with an ensemble where you make your partner look good and have fun!
