In this lab, we’ll study narrative and perform long-form improv, telling stories in two very popular genres. The first is fantasy, which will be along the lines of hidden-world modern fantasy like you’d find in Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, or The Magicians. The second is science fiction which will be a space exploration, similar to shows like Star Trek, The Expanse, or The Mandalorian.

You don’t have to be an expert in either of these genres to sign up for this class! We’ll go over everything you need to know. The focus of the class will be on telling a strong narrative as we boldly explore magical new worlds together. The course culminates in four shows.
