Watching a talented improvisor make up a song on the spot looks hard but it’s not. With a few helpful prompts and techniques developed in improv settings, you’ll learn to go from zero singing experience to being ready to be the star of your own improvised musical!

Sebastian Blue, who is writing a book on the elements of musical improv, will help you create innovative and spontaneous melodies and teach you to integrate them into scenes and narratives. You’ll dive into off-the-cuff lyric invention, expressing narratives and emotions through song, and experimenting with various musical genres – all without a script. This workshop centers on creativity, spontaneity, and deep fun.

Open to all (even if you have no music or improv experience).
