I – Improvising Like a Bad-Ass with Ken (#17-01-2451)

Improvising Like a Bad-Ass
Wednesdays, 7:00 – 10:00 PM

Wednesday, January 4th and 11th
Bayfront Theater, San Francisco

Schedule: Two sessions – Wednesdays November 4th and 11th
Class length: 3 hours, for a total of 6 hours
Tuition: $90
Prerequisite: Foundation 3 and above

It’s fun to be bad – just ask Darth Vader or Cruella de Vil! Take a deep dive into the dark-end of the pool and see how we can play the baddies we all love to hate. But most improvisers find it difficult to play unrepentant villains…until they experience how fun it can be!

In this class you’ll learn how to play the baddest of the bad – from charming schemers to unstoppable psychopaths – with confidence and joy.  We’ll create villains in a variety of genres (Noir, Horror, Shakespeare, Westerns, etc.) who aren’t just one-note cardboard cutouts.  We’ll work on a wide range of stage-combat skills so you can back up your badness.  Then we’ll take our new bad-ass skills out for a spin in both short-form and long-form scene work.

Join us for some fun on the dark-side…and make the dark afraid of YOU.
