Wednesdays, 7:30 – 9:30 PM

Wednesdays December 2 and December 9
Bayfront Theater, San Francisco

Schedule: Two sessions; Wednesdays December 2 and 9, 7:30 – 9:30pm
Class length: 2 hours each session, for a total of 4 hours of class
Tuition: $60
Prerequisite: Foundation 2 and above

What is the basic step for the waltz? Or the American tango? How do you hold your frame? If you are an improviser, you should be able to answer these questions! Aren’t you tired of bumping into each other in a ballroom scene?

Partner dancing requires highly nuanced “give and take.” Bring that same level of sensitivity to your improvisation. Become an improviser who moves fluidly on the stage.

In this class you will learn the basics of partner dancing, a few basic steps you should know and how it can apply to your improv work. This class will improve your movement, your connection to your fellow players and your body awareness for character work.

This 2-hour class for 2 weeks will be sure to be both highly energizing and informative.
