Our workshops are highly interactive, and lots of fun. Based on your needs, we customize each one from our vast range of services. All of our training programs can be structured for a half-day, one full day, or to fit your schedule.

Sample Workshops

Effective for brand new teams and existing ones that need a tune-up, this workshop explores the fundamental principles and exercises of improvised theatre, helping participants to trust, relax, open up, reduce fear, build on ideas, refrain from judging, cooperate, put ego aside, solve problems, work toward a common goal, and have a lot of fun!

This type of workshop focuses on brainstorming, idea generation, and collaborative problem solving. You will learn to identify and experience group flow. It is useful for groups currently focusing on specific issues, or simply wanting to stimulate new paths to spark individual and collective creativity and strategic thinking.

In this training, especially popular with intact teams, you will focus on the power of improv to build trust, enhance listening skills, and develop cooperation as well as framing a narrative, eliciting compelling messages, and sharing your story. You will learn techniques for delivering your message more effectively and discover how using intentional nonverbal communication cues can strengthen your message.

Sometimes your team just needs to get together, have fun, laugh, relieve stress, and enjoy each other’s company in a friendly, no-pressure environment! Improv can be the perfect activity to bring your team together in a unique way that promotes interaction, “team bonding,” and laughter. You may be surprised how many of your team members who might, initially, be afraid of the concept of improv end up leaving the session loving it!

Can’t decide which program will benefit your team most? Choose any two or more of the topics below for a more comprehensive improv experience! The one-day version of Improv for the Workplace Sampler allows for more in-depth exploration of concepts, as well as time for specific strategizing and problem solving or to have fun together using and developing these skills.

By acting as customers, employees, interview subjects, and other key constituents, BATS improvisers can assist with a variety of training exercises. By using BATS role-play performers, you can give your employees an opportunity to try new techniques to enhance customer service, interview skills, crisis management, or other targeted skill sets.

Although performing improv in front of others may seem like a daunting task, imagine how amazing it will feel to watch your team learn some basic skills and perform an improv showcase for each other by the end of the program session! This team-building experience is guaranteed to provide a lot of laughs, boost confidence, and help you get to know and trust your teammates better, all while developing your skills for thinking on your feet, accepting ideas, letting go of fear, and being in the moment.
