Teen Classes

Our teen classes provide individual attention from experienced coaches who have worked with youth and teen improvisers for many years. Students explore the concepts and skills of improv through games and exercises, and most classes culminate in a showcase performance for family and friends.

In-Person Beginning Youth Improv 9-12 Level I with Benny Garcia

Grades 9-12 Mondays June 6 - August 1 Bayfront Theater, San Francisco   Class Time/Dates: 4:30pm-6:00pm PST // Mondays, June 6, 13, 20, 27, July 11, 18, 25 & August 1 *Please note there will be no class on July 4th* Class size: 16 students maximum Class length: 1.5 hours per day (12 hours total instruction) Tuition: $229
It’s never too early to start improvising, and now you can start that journey here at BATS!
Beginning Youth Improv is a fun and engaging introduction to improvisation.  This class focuses on the foundations of improv like: •listening •collaboration •teamwork •imagination …which all happen to be GREAT life skills, too!
Through games and exercises, students will practice individual skills, create stories, and learn to be part of an ensemble, all in a low-pressure environment with an emphasis on FUN!
The class will culminate in a showcase performance for family and friends.
