That’s what you’ll hear after taking this class! The chills and thrills of The Actor’s Nightmare come to life in this class designed to supercharge your performance skills in two vital areas…acting and improv. On-camera acting is now a requirement for improvisers on Zoom. Are you being truthful in your scenes? Did you know the camera reads your thoughts?

Half of the session will be spent learning on-camera acting techniques, playing for truth, and script analysis. The other half on amping up your improv by deepening your scene work and your ability to think on your feet.

This class ends with two prime time fun shows doing The Actor’s Nightmare format– live!

So what’s The Actor’s Nightmare?

Theatre & improv collide! The theatre actors are ready–they’ve prepared scenes while the improvisers enter a play they’ve never seen before, riffing off the lines. You’ll try both parts in this class. The audience won’t be able to tell who is the actor and who is the improviser! After this class, you’ll call yourself both!
