Class size: 16 students maximum

Originating right here in the Bay Area and beloved by improv troupes worldwide, “The Harold” is more than just a performance—it’s an essential experience for every improviser. This challenging yet exhilarating format is renowned for its creativity, artistry, and ability to strengthen ensemble skills. In our class, you’ll delve into the heart of “The Harold,” exploring its structure and techniques. From generating scenes inspired by a single word or a thought-provoking monologue to weaving characters and themes throughout, you’ll learn how to craft cohesive narratives on the spot. Our sessions will focus on building your confidence, enhancing your spontaneity, and fostering a deeper connection with your fellow improvisers. Plus, celebrate your newfound skills in a short but lively showcase for invited friends and family at the end of the class. Join us on a journey of creativity and collaboration like no other. Completion of F3 or equivalent experience is required.
