Toni Mazzuca was born and raised in Chicago. As a kid, she fell in love with the Carol Burnett show, and this began her love of physical comedy and improv. After taking her first improv class at Players Workshop of Second City, she went on to study at the Second City school in Chicago for 2 years. She then relocated to San Francisco for her job and started taking classes at BATS in the fall of 2002. In that same year, she started performing with the BATS Sunday Players which then led to the BATS advanced student performer group called the Crew.
Since then she’s been a founding member of the improv groups GoFish, 4in1 and Mi Corazon es tu Piñata: Improvised Telenovela. She has also performed with the BATS main stage, Big City Improv, Improvised Murder Mystery, Zipline Improv, at many SF improv festivals and with a variety of other groups. Toni currently performs every weekend with Secret Improv Society in San Francisco.
Toni has taught improv classes and led trainings in the bay area for a variety of groups and companies. When not working or performing, you can find her going to concerts, watching live theatre or traveling to see her friends and family.
