Gift Certificate FAQs

How do I use a gift certificate to buy tickets? How do I use my ticket six-pack?
Please email shows@improv.org to make a reservation. Include your name and the number of tickets you will be purchasing with your gift certificate. Making a reservation guarantees you a seat even if the show sells out. On the night of the show, bring your gift certificate to the box office. Tickets with a reservation will be deducted from your gift certificate total at the advance price of $17 each. (Note that if you have a ticket six-pack, both reserved tickets and door tickets will be deducted at $15 each.)

Without a reservation, you can use your gift certificate just like cash. Please note that seating is on a space available basis and some shows do sell out. Tickets without a reservation will be deducted at the door price of $20 per ticket. (Note that if you have a ticket six-pack, both reserved tickets and door tickets will be deducted at $15 each.)

How do I use a gift certificate to pay for a class?
Please email registrar@improv.org to enroll and pay for your class with a gift certificate. Include your name and the class name, instructor, and starting date. The class tuition will be deducted from your gift certificate total. Any balance due will need to be paid at the time of enrollment to guarantee your place in the class.

How do I use a gift certificate to purchase books or merchandise?
Gift certificates may be used to buy books or BATS merch in person at the Bayfront Theater or in a BATS School of Improv class only. If you have specific questions, please email registrar@improv.org.
