Support BATS Improv

As a non-profit organization, BATS Improv relies on the generosity of supporters to keep the organization strong and growing.

There are a number of ways you can support BATS:

Tell a Friend - One of the easiest and best ways you can support BATS is by spreading the word. Did you have a good time at a show? Did you enjoy your beginning workshop? Did BATS do improv training at your office? If so, please tell a friend. Or invite somebody to a show and show them yourself. We receive more students and patrons from recommendations than any other source.

Volunteer - We are always looking for volunteer assistance. From serving on our Board of Directors, to helping take tickets at a show, to stopping by to help clean the theater, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. If you have a particular area of interested or expertise, drop us an e-mail and let us know.

Donate equipment or material - BATS always has a "wish list" of equipment or material (see below) that we need to keep our operation running. If you have any of these items that are "gently used" or would like to donate a new item, we would very much appreciate it.

eScrip - You can support BATS simply by registering with eScrip. When you do, BATS receives a percentage of your purchase from a number of grocery stores, retail outlets and restaurants (at no additional cost to you!) It's a hassle-free way for you to support BATS through everyday purchases you already make. It's pretty simple to participate:

1. Log on to http://www.escrip.com/ and read about the program. Then go to "sign up."
2. Designate BATS to receive contributions. Our group ID is #500000630.
3. Register your grocery store card--and your debit, ATM and credit cards if you wish.

That's it. Visit eScrip merchants to shop (there is a list on the site.) Your contribution is automatic and BATS can potentially receive hundreds of dollars from your participation alone.

Financial support - We also need your financial support to keep BATS running. Ticket sales and workshop tuition are not enough to meet our full budget needs and we rely on the generosity of donors to help make up the difference. You gifts support top-quality teaching, fund the Laughing Stock program, which provides workshops for the chronically ill, supplies materials for our improv in the schools program, and keeps the stage lit and the rent paid.
