Corey hails from Rochester, New York. His stage debut, in third grade, was the coveted role of Pepe in "Pepe and the Cornfield Bandit." He soon after enrolled in his first of 9 summers at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, a summer camp in the Catskills where kids from 7 to 17 put on fully staged musicals and dramas in two and a half weeks.

In high school, Corey started his first improv group, and stayed active in the improv and sketch communities at Northwestern University, where he studied Radio TV and Film.

Corey's interests extend off the stage to writing, producing, directing, and animating for the stage and screen. His award-winning short films (including "Keep Clear," "Sockrotika VII: The Smell of Socks," and "My Brother... The Stormtrooper") have screened at festivals around the globe.

In 2001, Corey created a variety show called "The A**hole Monologues: A Comedy for Anyone Who Has One, Knows One, or Is One" as a benefit for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. The show has enjoyed sold out runs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Aspen, and Off-Broadway in New York City.

Professionally, Corey works for George Lucas' visual effects company, Industrial Light & Magic, as a "Creature Supervisor," though even he has trouble explaining what exactly that... means... His behind-the-scenes credits include "The Phantom Menace," "Terminator 3," "The Day After Tomorrow," and 2005's "Son of the Mask," and "War of the Worlds."

Corey began taking BATS classes in 1996 and has performed with the Sunday Players and Belfry Ensembles before becoming a Company Guest in 2004. He is thrilled to share the Bayfront Stage with so many committed and talented performers... including his wife, Jenny Meyer.
