Zoe Galvez caught the improv bug while training at BATS.
She is a professional actor with a background in theatre
and dance.
She has performed locally (Magic Theatre, The Marsh) and
abroad (Canada, Australia, New York) in various theatrical
productions including adaptations of Dickens’ Hard Times,
Melville’s Moby Dick and the West Coast Premiere
of Sam Shepard’s Eyes for Consuela.

The Magic
Theatre brought Zoe back to understudy for the female lead in
the World Premiere of Shepard’s The Late Henry Moss at
Theatre On the Square.
In addition to her stagework, Zoe works a in commercial, film,
and television (Nash Bridges, Stand-By, Dodge Ram),
corporate trainings (Kaiser Permanente, Apple Computers), industrials
(IBM, Banana Republic and most recently for Elevon with John Cleese),
and in over 40 voiceovers (Macy’s, Sprint PCS, SIMS 2, Battles
of Exigo, Scooby Doo Interactive). Her favorite voiceover line
ever is...."I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't
for you meddling kids and your pesky dog!"
She teaches movement, acting, and improv to kids and adults throughout
the Bay Area at acting/improv schools such as the San Francisico
Acting Academy, Kids On Camera, Improvworks and BATS.
In her spare time, she trains her cat. He can ‘sit’ and ‘ring
a bell’ on command. Some argue that her cat has trained her.
