John Kovacevich named executive director of BATS Improv

San Francisco (December 10, 2004) - John Kovacevich is the new executive director of BATS Improv.

Kovacevich, who has served as BATS general manager and managing director since 2002, has more than 10 years of non-profit management experience. He is a member of the BATS Company Players.

The new executive director position replaces the managing director as the top executive officer for the non-profit organization. As executive director, Kovacevich will be responsible for implementing the organization's mission and executing BATS' strategic plan. Duties include management of staff, fiscal oversight, fund development, relationship building, strategic planning, and board development.
