3 For All and BATS Improv Raise $5,000 for Tsunami Relief

San Francisco (January 6, 2005) - Improv troupe 3 For All and BATS Improv raised more than $5,000 Wednesday night with a special benefit performance for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in South Asia. More than 200 patrons packed BATS' Bayfront Theater at Fort Mason for the performance by 3 For All.

BATS Improv donated the space and everybody, from performers to ticket takers, donated their time so that all proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross International Response Fund.

"3 For All is honored to be associated witht he BATS Improv community, and we want to thank all of the generous people who came to the show tonight," said Orr.

"The news from South Asia has been incredibly sad, but tonight was about celebrating life, and coming together to laugh for a good cause," said BATS Executive Director John Kovacevich.

BATS Improv is one of the nation's largest non-profit improvisational theatre companies, offering improv shows and workshops year-round.
