Dave Dennision Named New Artistic Director of BATS Improv

San Francisco (January 5, 2005) - Dave Dennsion has been selected as the new artistic director of BATS Improv. He begins a two-year term February 1.

Dennison, who most recently served as Asst. Dean of the BATS School, has been improvising for more than ten years and has been a member of the BATS Main Stage Company since 1998. He has performed with many improv groups including True Fiction Magazine, Scratch Theater, Start Trekkin', The Particulars, Hey You, and The Travellers.

The BATS artistic director is a two-year term position and is charged with developing and executing goals to implement the artistic mission of the organization.

Dennision replaces Regina Saisi who served as artistic director since 2001.
