Looking for a way to break into theater work? BATS
Improv is looking to fill an entry-level position
that provides general administrative support across
all programs. You'll report to our administrative
manager.
Marketing-related responsibilities
include distributing calendar listings to weekly,
monthly, and quarterly press contacts; creating and
maintaining resource files for show, class, and media
kit info; keeping BATS' MySpace and Facebook sites
current; and ensuring an adequate supply of show programs,
lobby posters, and other collateral.
School-related responsibilities include
entering the names of new ticket purchasers into the
database and creating signage and packets for improv
classes.
Business development–related responsibilities
include communication by phone and email with existing
and potential clients of BATS Improv's On-The-Go training
program.
Administrative-related responsibilities
include gaining physical and intellectual control
over paper files.
Qualified applicants will be:
Well organized
Strong on details and follow through
Adept at customer service
Able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Word, Excel, and web technologies and
be willing to learn our other systems
Plusses:
Ability to work on both PC and Mac platforms
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
Intermediate knowledge of html programming
The job pays minimum wage ($9.14/hour) for 15 hours
per week (hours are somewhat flexible). Please email
