Welcome to BATS Improv, named the Bay Area's "Best Theater Company", "Best Comedy Troupe", "Best First Date Spot", and more. Our shows feature a surprising mix of improv comedy and theatre.  Every Friday & Saturday at 8pm, the Main Stage Company performs a variety of improvised shows from musicals to murder mysteries and more.  Most Sundays at 7pm you catch a rising star at a Student Showcase.
The BATS School of Improvisational Theatre attracts students from around the world.  We offer a wide variety of improv classes from begininig to advanced plus innovative specialty classes. Overall, BATS is a great place to meet new people and explore your creativity in a fun, supportive environment.

BATS On-The-Go
BATS Improv's On-The-Go provides entertainment for private events and training for corporations, schools, and other organizations.  We develop skills in workforce leadership, communication, creativity, and collaboration.

BATS' Laughing Stock offers free improv training to patients living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.
