Millie DeBenedet

Just like Eminem, Madonna, and Tom Selleck, Millie hails from the creative capital of the world, Detroit, Michigan.  It was there that she took her first improv class at Interlochen Arts Camp.  Throughout high school she performed comedic dinner theatre at Genittis–Hole-in-The-Wall.

Millie then moved to Chicago to receive her BFA in acting from DePaulUniversity’s TheatreSchool.  During that time she completed her voiceover demo and trained with teachers from SecondCity and Improv Olympic.  While at DePaul, she also performed in the Chicago’s Playworks: Theatre for Young Audiences and had the opportunity to work with acclaimed playwright Carlos Murillo.

Her favorite roles include Sophie in Roald Dahl’s BFG and Helen in Christopher Durang’s Baby with the Bathwater.  Recently Millie was seen playing a confused Midwestern newlywed in the SF Follies at the Actors’ Theatre.  Aside from creating theatre, Millie enjoys jammin’ to Cat Stevens and eating fruit roll‑ups while driving her 1998 Honda Accord.

This is Millie's second year in the BATS Guest Progam.
